As an engineering apprentice making car body tooling, a ship’s engineer and Research and development for Concord, Tony switched to quantity surveying in the construction industry in 1965 specialising in building engineering services. With his wife Sallie, Tony moved to the York area in December 2013 to help our youngest daughter, whilst she studies for a podiatry degree. Tony took up working with wood after retirement as a freelance M&E QS, making toys, marionettes and personalised jumping jacks for his 3 grandchildren. Grandpa Tony is developing his workshop into memories of an Aladdin’s cave. A lifetime story is being reborn from things. Today is the first day of the rest of my life. |
